Sun Break Heritage Cider
Sun Break Heritage Cider: we offer three delicious small-batch dry ciders made from fresh apples, unfiltered and naturally carbonated. No sulfites added. About half of the apples are hand-picked from our property and neighbors’ no-spray orchard and found trees in the Soap Creek Valley north of Corvallis, Oregon. This is supplemented by heritage cider apple varietals from the organically-managed Wombat Flats Orchard near Corvallis and the Idyll Acres Orchard near Turner, Oregon (conventional).

We use traditional practices with no sulfites added for both wine and cider making.
The quality of our wine and cider relies on sustainably-farmed high quality Willamette Valley grapes and apples. Our grapes are farmed using organic practices. Many of our apples are local, no-spray and organic practices apples.
David Patte is the owner, wine maker and cider maker. David learned the craft & science of vinification through harvest internships w/ numerous Oregon wineries and wine makers including Clay Pigeon Wines, Anderson Family Vineyard and Winery, Lumos Wine Company, Dominio IV Wines, Native Flora Wine, and Mylan Wines. This was supplemented with classes at the Chemeketa Wine Studies Program, and a lifetime of tasting wine and cider in the U.S. and France.
